duration: three hours.

The performance took place up on a ski jump in Olafsfjördur, Iceland.

Sitting on top of the ski jump, I started to fill a 25 meter long calligraphy with free writing. I kept the writing hand moving continuously, without stopping to read what I had written and without paying attention to grammar, spelling, punctuation, neatness, or style. The correctness and quality of what I wrote didn't matter; only the act of writing did. The aim was to free myself for a while from logical thinking: to let my thoughts become detached and free-flying, just as what ski jumpers momentarily become when they launch themselves from a ski jump into the air.
